The extremely attractive location near the charming Old Town, as well as the immediate vicinity of the modern yacht harbour "Marina Gdańsk", has made the restaurant a characteristic landmark on the culinary map of the city. The lower terrace is an unconventional extension of the restaurant area, which enables the guests to admire the monuments of Długie Pobrzeże (Long Seashore) and Wyspa Spichrzów (Granary Island) at close range. Inside the restaurant, you will find a quiet and easy elegant atmosphere, as well as exquisite food and alcohol, which you can enjoy for hours, in every season of the year.

"Szafarnia 10" is a fusion of excellent dishes of Polish and regional cuisine, rich with fresh fish and venison. The restaurant guests can choose great seasonal products from local farms and workshops. Besides, they can also watch every stage of preparing their dish live. In this place, where modernity meets tradition, you can also taste perfectly prepared meat dishes. Our chefs have the ambition of preparing several dishes which are not in the menu every day. Their creativity and individual art of preparing dishes is a guaranteed promise of unique and surprising flavour combinations. We are happy to welcome you in restaurant Szafarnia 10.
"The uniqueness of this place is not only due to its location, but especially because of the exquisite, healthy, natural and preservative-free cuisine.

Our great Chef, Grzegorz Labuda, is a master of his art. He had the privilege of cooking for prime ministers of EU countries during the Polish Presidency. He also prepared the menu for President George W. Bush during his visit to Poland in 2007. Grzegorz Labuda is the author of several cookbooks: „Przysmaki szlacheckie" (Delicacies of Noblemen), „Domowa paszteciarnia" (Homemade Pâtés), „Niezwykłe dania ze zwykłych składników" (Unusual Dishes made of Common Ingredients). He is also the co-author of the book "Współczesna kuchnia polska" (Contemporary Polish Cuisine), issued under the patronage of the First Lady Anna Komorowska.

As a Chef, he is passionate about training young apprentices of culinary art. His students win the highest prizes in prestigious culinary competitions. Despite his master's experience, he has not lost his professional humility and willingness to break new grounds in the world of flavours. His original dishes, results of searching for new flavour combinations, will satisfy even the most demanding customers.
